2 cakes, 20 donuts and 1 brownie cake later, i've officially left the teenage-years. Depressing, i'm starting to get oldddd. Still, thank you all for remembering. It's kinda nice but odd to still be getting well wishes some 5 days after your birthday's passed. Nonetheless, i'm grateful to them all.
EDIT: And 1 strawberry cheesecake, thanks to my Crusade people who popped by when i was manning the exhibition hall today (30th Jan)
Anyway, i just whined to Gerald about forgetting my birthday and running back to Indonesia. He is gonna have to pay me back big time for this... I think it's really not easy being on the top of the list. Ha. Still, i suspect that it's easy to guilt trip my lovable cousin because of his "i wanna please everyone" attitude. I think it strange that despite everything people seem to perceive about us and all the times he's flared up over issues raised, we've never really argued. Although we might bicker a tad more than normal, but i'm thankful for the bond between us. One that reminds us that as twisted as the family might get over issues, we're still here; we're still standing here together.
Before i digress, birthday this year was pretty interesting. I spent the day at the science center with Joey. Had a tubby time there with the exhibitions and all. And i got a Bambooooooooo (so) Fun for my birthday. Yayness. Was tinkering with it last night. Somehow i think i turned off the pressure control accidentally while playing. It no longer senses the pressure (Noooooooooooooooo~!!!), guess i'll need to consult Oscar or so to get some clue on fixing it. Zzz.
Crusade steamboat today, was pretty fun. Very educational in some ways. I met another 2 seniors. A year 3 and a year 5 guy. Old people. Tskk. And i got to check out Eudora and Richard's (the year3 guy) portfolios; which were really scary. Mr Year 5 kept giggling throughout the "crit" so it was pretty freaky too. Very erwin-ish. I hope that the weirdness does not come with increased architectural understanding. Oh and i met 2 others too! One whom apparently knows me and another who didnt but knew it was my birthday. Strange stuff. Haha.
And this week's assignment's a killer. 27 plans, 6 star mapping, 1 3D model. Not to mention i'm planning to do some visiting + man the 50th anniversary exhibition. Gah. I need to work harddd. And may God be with me and gimmi good lines. Haha. Still, i'm thankful that my current tutor's helpful and tries to guide us patiently without over intimidating us. Certain things he mentioned reminds me of things Fong mentioned before but in a less critical and confusing manner. Which really helps i suppose. I guess the earlier confusion has given me some chance to better understand the words that are now spoken.
